The Study aims to identify Openness to experience among students of the Faculty of Music and Drama at Sudan University of Science and Technology considering variables such as gender, age, specialization, and academic levell. To achieve this, the researcher adopted descriptive correlational method by applying openness to experience scale (costa &McCarae,1999) as a tool to gather information from a sample of 255 students (127 males and 128 females), selected through a holistic method. The data were processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) applying T-test for one population mean, the T-test for two independent groups, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tokay Test. The results revealed the following: Students of the Faculty of Music and Drama at Sudan University of Science and Technology exhibit statistically high Openness to experience. There are statistically significant differences in Openness to experience among Students of the Faculty of Music and Drama at Sudan University of Science and Technology according to gender (in favour of male) except of feeling dimension which shows no significant differences in it as well as aesthetics dimension which shows significant differences (in favour of female). There are no statistically significant differences in Openness to experience among Students of the Faculty of Music and Drama at Sudan University attributed to Age and specialization, There are statistically significant differences in Openness to experience among students of the Faculty of Music and Drama at Sudan University of Science and Technology according to academic level ( in favour of fourth and third level) except of activities dimension which shows no statistically significant differences in it . In conclusion, the researcher proposed several recommendations, the most important being is to develop the curriculum by putting the subject of openness to experience as priority and teach it to the students and showing how significant it ‘is, necessity to be positively open to other culture and willing to accept it.
