Blended learning strategy is an integrative formula between face-to-face learning and distance e-learning; it must be employed in teaching at Sudanese universities
This current study aims to stimulate discussion and shed light on the Blended learning strategy (BLS) as an integrative formula between face-to-face learning and distance e-learning; and to adopt the necessity of employing it in teaching at Sudanese universities. The study followed the descriptive approach according to its analytical characteristics; which is based on collecting information by reviewing the available literature related to the subject and in a way that allows the opportunity to manage information and opinion deduce relationships and opinion that reflect the researcher’s point of view to the extent that enables to achieve the study objectives. The paper addressed the definition of the blended learning strategy and the factors that led to the adoption of the BLS, as well as the elements necessary for the success of employing blended learning in teaching at Sudanese universities. The paper concluded with some recommendations, the most important of which are: Urging and encouraging Sudanese university administrations to adopt the BLS by focusing on procedural aspects, whether material or moral, and developing the professional capabilities of faculty members regarding the use of blended learning in teaching; the necessity of preparing a plan by each faculty member that ensures the use of blended learning and its activation in teaching courses; preparing the university environment of laboratories, classrooms, and supporting technical cadres in a manner that is consistent with the success of the use of the BLS in teaching at Sudanese universities.
