The research entitled (The impact of the use of social network sites on the drop in the academic level of students of French-Arab high schools in Conakry) Based on the researcher’s observations during his discussion of the profession of teacher in Arab institutes and universities, which included the drop in the academic level of students in the French-Arabic schools of Conakry in general and Conakry in particular. Therefore, the researcher looked at this problem to determine whether this effect is real and how it can be solved.
The main question that arises to this issue is: what is the impact of the use of social media on the decline of the school level for students of French-Arabic high schools in Conakry?
The research aims to reveal the truth about the impact of social media use on the dropping in school achievement of students from French-Arabic secondary schools in Conakry. The researcher has followed the descriptive analytical approach because it describes an educational issue. He also used the following research tools: interview, observation and questionnaire. His sample consisted of 120 samples: 80 students and 40 teachers. They were randomly selected and the researcher prepared a questionnaire. Research results showed that the impact of using social media sites on the dropping of school achievement of students at Franco-Arab high schools was due to economic reasons, which represented the highest percentage of reasons: (23.58%), followed by social reasons (23.12%), then academic reasons (21.58%), psychological reasons (21.04%).
